The shaped and moulded marble top above a frieze-drawer, the fall-front with green leather-lined writing surface, the frieze-drawer and the sides of the frieze with a marquetry of scrolls with a flower; the fall-front, the two lower doors and the sides with flowerhead filled trellis, the medallion in the center of the fall-front with a marquetry of two lovebirds enclosed by musical instruments, the canted angles decorated with a flowerhead, laurel leaves tied by a ribbon, and 'fausses' flutes; the fitted interior with pigeonholes above a central door with a marquetry of flower branches flanked by secret detachable 'column' and 'their base' and four drawers with trellis marquetry, on straight legs.
